In a demonstration of our utmost responsibility towards our users, SUBLUE has decided to initiate a recall for SUBLUE Mix underwater scooter batteries (in black) sold in select regions of the United States because these batteries can present a risk of overheating and fire.
We will provide users with a free upgrade to the latest generation of gray batteries (whose related technologies have been market-tested through SUBLUE's other mature products) to eliminate a safety hazard.
Affected Products:
Black SUBLUE Mix underwater scooter batteries produced between June 2018 and March 2024 (corresponding to unit models: MIXAW01, MIXAB01, MIXSB01).

RECALL PROCEDURES

Immediately cease using the black batteries and submit a recall application on this page.

SUBLUE will send a specialized recycling package (including a pre-paid shipping label) via a third-party company. Place the old battery inside the battery collection kit and return it.

Upon receiving the old battery, we will expedite the shipment of a new battery. Please only use the officially provided gray safety replacement battery and refrain from using third-party batteries as replacements in the SUBLUE Mix underwater scooters.
In compliance with CPSC requirements, SUBLUE has established this recall procedure. The return timeline for the gray new batteries may be subject to delays depending on battery inventory availability.
