At the end of 2023, the “Dive into Guangzhou” New Year charity event set off warmly once again. As the event’s gold sponsor, Sublue prepared attractive auction items for partners advocating marine charity, including the Mix and Tini underwater scooters and the H1 intelligent waterproof phone case. The proceeds from ticket sales and the charity auction will support the 2024 Accessible Diving Charity Project.

“Dive into Guangzhou” is organized by the Dive for Recovery Diving Club, focusing on disability aid and marine environmental protection. The event invited advocates of accessible culture in Guangzhou and Dive for Recovery’s first HSA (Handicapped Scuba Association) diver, Fang Jianzhe, to give a keynote speech. He shared the joy of diving and how being a diver has transformed his life.

Sublue has long supported diving experience activities for socially disadvantaged groups, providing powered assistance to those with progressive muscular dystrophy (ALS), spinal cord injuries, and individuals needing psychological healing. Sublue previously helped Fang Jianzhe fulfill his dream of diving at Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya, allowing him to easily navigate underwater and gain a sense of freedom over his body.

Sublue aims to offer more people the opportunity to experience and explore the underwater world. We hope that in the future, more disadvantaged groups will come to know and love diving through accessible diving charity projects, feel the healing power of the ocean, reshape their self-awareness, and enhance their courage and confidence in life.
